In this new body of work I continue to explore the delicate weirdness in the space between things. This work lives in the in-between; in-between seasons, in-between awake and asleep, in-between light and dark, night and day, the present and the past.
The artworks reflect the lingering warmth of summer alongside the encroaching chill of winter. In each piece, I try to contemplate the nuanced shifts in light, colour, and atmosphere that characterize this in-between period.
The subjects range from landscapes shrouded in mist to solitary figures bundled against the cold. There is a stillness here, as well as a sense of anticipation and reflection that speaks to the ever-changing nature of our surroundings.
