Frequently Asked

Questions

In an effort to simplify communication and speed up response time I have tried to answer some frequently asked questions below:

My technical training is in applied design and illustration. I graduated from the Stellenbosch Academy of Design back in 2011 and then went on to do Honours in illustration at Stellenbosch University in 2014. I enjoy taking on commercial illustration projects, but these days most of my focus and energy goes towards developing my own personal art practice.

I work in a combination of acrylics, gouache, collage, ink and pencil crayons.

I am not currently accepting private painting commissions.

I do have an online store and list all the works that are available for sale on this platform. Be sure to sign up to my newsletter for updates.

Shop online here or you can sign up to my mailing list to be notified about upcoming exhibitions, studio sales and any new collaborations or projects.

I support and participate in a number of charity exhibitions and projects every year and I choose these at my own discretion.

Kindly note that should you wish to post images of my work on your website, social media, or printed media it is considered good practice to pay me for the usage of my work and request my permission first

It depends on the image in question and whether it has sold or not. Once an original painting has been sold I prefer not to license it out for commercial purposes. I am more likely to respond to requests for new commissions.
